DAP4080IV Professional Digital Speaker Management

I. Features

▼ 96kHz sampling rate, 32-bit 400MHz DSP processor, with 24-bit A/D & D/A conversion.  

▼ Supports USB, LAN, and RS485 connects to PC connection.  

▼ RS485 serial port supports third-party central control systems.  

▼Multiple Devices Can Be Connected in Series via RS485 (Up to 32 Units)  

▼Standalone Operation – Functions can be set and controlled via front-panel buttons and encoder wheel, offering intuitive and user-friendly operation without a PC.

▼Both standalone and PC control software can store 24 user presets.

▼ Panel lock function (password-protected via the SYSTEM button) prevents unauthorized access and protects device settings.  

▼ 2×24-character LCD (white backlight) for settings and 8-band LED meters showing I/O levels, mute, and edit status.  

▼ Each input channel features 16-band EQ, while output channels feature 8-band EQ (optional PEQ, LowShelving 2nd, High Shelving 2nd, LowPass 2nd, HighPass 2nd, Notch, AllPass 1st, AllPass 2nd).  

▼ Adjustable IIR filter slopes for High/Low-pass Filters:  

    - Butterworth: 6dB, 12dB, 18dB, 24dB, 36dB, 48dB/octave.  

    - Linkwitz-Riley: 12dB, 24dB, 36dB, 48dB/octave.  

    - Bessel: 12dB, 18dB, 24dB, 36dB, 48dB/octave.  

 Supports External FIR Filters – Import files generated by FIR design tools..  

 The parameters of the High/Low-pass Filter can be independently adjusted to achieve asymmetric frequency division function;.  

▼Each channel features Gain, Delay (up to 1000ms), Phase, and Mute.  

   - Delay units: ms (milliseconds), m (meters), ft (feet).  

   - Adjustable 5 kinds of step sizes: ×0.001, ×0.01, ×0.1, ×1, ×10.  

 RMS Compression – Adjustable from -24dB to +12dB (0.1dB steps) per input/output.  

▼Routing Matrix – Flexible signal distribution between input and output channels.

 Noise Gate – Adjustable threshold (-120dB to -20dB) on input channels.  

▼Built-in Signal Generator – Pink noise, white noise, sine wave (adjustable level).  

▼Support channel copy and joint debugging; Support modifying the name of each input/output channel;  

 

II.Panel Introductions

Front Panel

1. USB interface  

Connect the USB interface to the PC for communication, adjust relevant parameters through PC interface software, and apply to the corresponding input and output parts. 

 

2. LCD Display Screen 

Display menu options, output information, and various parameters being adjusted.

 

3. Function Menu  

1) Polarity: Polarity settings  

2) Gain: Adjust gain  

3) Delay: Delay setting (0–1000ms)  

4) X-over: Division settings  

5) EQ: Equalization settings  

6) Compressor: Compression settings  

7) Load: Load presets

4. Digital Encoder

Rotation: Adjust parameters  

Press: Enter or confirm as Enter button  

 

5. Input Mute/Edit Keys  

- Short press: Toggle mute ON/OFF  

- Long press: Enter input editing function interface.  

 

6. Output Mute/Edit Keys  

- Short press: Toggle mute ON/OFF  

- Long press: Enter the output editing function interface.  

Level indicator light: used to dynamically display signal level.

 

Rear Panel

1. Power Switch (Turn on to supply power and enable normal operation)

A compatible power cable is included.
